Aon – 10 years Aon Bulgaria

 

Aon is the leading global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, human resources solutions and outsourcing services. To mark the 10th anniversary of its Bulgarian office we were challenged to organize an event, to present the company in a video and to innovate the way Aon Bulgaria provides statistical information.

The first step was to create the video and tell the story behind one of the biggest companies in Bulgaria and worldwide. We decided to shoot in Aon’s office with real employees: the latest trends showed that the public trusts employees far more than anyone else in a company structure. We also believed the story would look more authentic and trustworthy.

We requested brief information about 2-3 people from every department – not work-related, just a bunch of random facts. After reading the provided information, we were inspired and we knew: the best way to present Aon Bulgaria was to tell the real human stories behind their professional results; to combine the facts about these people’s lives with their work achievements.  

So we called all the random info “superpowers” and showed how everyone is an overachiever because they are superheroes both behind the desk and in real life! This way we managed to show the progressive thinking of the company and its astonishing success.

Our next challenge was to find a new and fresh way to present otherwise boring statistical information. We wanted to keep the corporate feeling but make the information more engaging and understandable.  So we decided to create a short animation with infographics presenting the 2015 trends. Aon liked the idea and the video turned out to really break the ice and position the company as innovative and progressive-thinking.

The final task was the event – and it was a totally different story. We literally went into a “call centre mode” in order to invite more than 300 special guests. We wanted to present the company in the best way possible and make every single person feel special, so we paid attention to every detail: the program, the hosts, the guests. During the event, we projected the two videos and they got an outstanding response from everyone, including the international management of the company.

The client was more than happy, and so were we: we managed to both carry out an event of great importance and update the overall image of the company as innovative, progressive thinking and overachieving – values we knew have always been a major part of their story.
