It was short before Christmas 2016 when we met Aleona de Cama – a pen name of a young and talented woman who wrote her first book, called “Izbiram teb, LYUBOV” (I choose you, LOVE). We liked her, we liked the book and together we decided to come up with a new and fresh strategy to present and sell the book.
Inspired by both the author and the book we first made a video, then a landing page, a Facebook page… and the idea to sell the book exclusively online was born on its own. We realised it was a big risk but we believed in the project and we were determined to put all our knowledge and expertise to make it a success. We launched a Facebook campaign and less than a month later we knew we made the right decision: the sales were growing, more and more new readers fell in love with the book and everything seemed to be on the right track.
So it was. The book became a bestseller. For a year it sold more than 6 000 copies which is an excellent result on the Bulgarian book market and the sales continue to be impressive untill today. The Facebook page has almost 10 000 fans and now we have even bigger plans for the book and for Aleona!
