It was time to get creative. We knew we wanted the website to look hip, funky & modern. It was necessary to have a gamification element as we wanted people to stay as long as possible in the site and observe the inside culture, thus stimulation an inside promotion process in the IT crowd. The biggest challenge was to embed a rather boring information – their structure, the required skills to apply, the work that a potential employee should expect and make it a WOW factor. So we went out of the box. So much out of the box that we ended presenting their “work radar” as a pizza, coding a mini beer game and creating a website that was not just engaging – it was as if alive. Literally in the middle of testing it we realized that we’ve created a little monster that was unable to be fully ran at devices that were older than 2 years. Though speaking with the client we both agreed this happened to serve as a “screening methodology” of “are you really a software developer”.
