So we sat down and read the book. We knew the reviews but we literally lived on reading the book again and again and waiting for Preyah to write her song inspired by it. She did it. And our reading turned into a week of non-stop listening to Preyah and skimming the pages, imagining how the video would look like and writing down ideas. We knew we are not going to do the typical music video, Preyah’s song was so deep and groovy, the book was amazing it was a combination of three different types of art. So we decided to shoot a music video that will remind of a short movie with no speeches whatsoever. A video that would tell a story in a more film-wise direct approach. We wanted for it to be black & white as the tendencies in the music video industry were going in that direction and it would’ve put more emphasis on the overall broody feeling. We went out of our comfort zone to create something special that meant a great deal to us. We managed to combine three arts, the three greatest arts of time probably and create a wave that touched everyone it ran through.
